The Bread of Life Ministry in Augusta, Maine has been serving the community for over 35 years. They provide housing, food, and shelter for folks who need help. Yes, the housing and shelter are two separate pieces. They have apartments and temporary shelters.
I met Victoria, the Executive Director, and Laura, Human Resources, at a Business After Hours with the Chamber of Commerce. Immediately, we hit it off. Soon enough, we set up a meeting to discuss how I could help. Initially, I planned on creating something for free (I love non-profits). We planned a 30-second promo revolving around the idea of “we are here for you”.
However, at a second meeting with Greg from Pliable Marketing, we transformed our plan to include a second video. Therefore, I requested payment.
During our meeting, we scheduled a full day of shooting, involving several interviews and plenty of B-roll. The day went very well and we captured a lot of content. At the time of this blog post, I’m still editing the two videos. One will be 30 seconds, as discussed. The other will be 3-4 minutes.
We have a few more shots to capture, one of which will be a sunrise. Definitely will be a coffee day for that shoot.
To be updated upon project completion.
